What's the difference between home cleaning and deep cleaning?
Home cleaning keeps your home clean week by week, while deep cleaning is a thorough one-off job that also covers surfaces everyday cleaning rarely reaches – behind appliances, inside cabinets and a deep clean of the bathroom. Many customers book a deep clean as a starting point and then move on to recurring home cleaning.
What does a deep clean cost?
The price depends on the size of your home and how thorough the clean needs to be. Contact us and we'll go through your home's needs and give you a price – and thanks to the RUT deduction you only pay half the labour cost.
Does deep cleaning qualify for the RUT deduction?
Yes, deep cleaning at home is a household service. The 50% deduction on the labour cost is applied straight away when you pay, and we report it automatically to the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket).
How long does a deep clean take?
It depends on the size and condition of your home – a deep clean takes considerably longer than a regular home clean because we go through the home in depth. We'll give you a time estimate when we plan the clean together.
Do I need to be home during the deep clean?
No, that's not necessary. Our staff handle keys according to the Swedish Theft Prevention Association's (SSF) key-handling routines and work under confidentiality agreements, so you can safely leave your home to us.
